ground hog days

Woke up, again. Dr. McCoy came in and discussed Kev's appetite, again. She mentioned we will have to stay in the hospital a couple more days, AGAIN!

They are very good and very efficient around here and that is prolonging our visit. The stronger Kev gets himself (inside and out) the better his body will handle the intense chemotherapy to come. He was on the Nutrition drip, which basically tricked his brain into thinking he was full and nourished without eating. That was good then, NOW he needs to eat, but has no appetite #$%^&! It will come, today Ma brought Arby's, a cheese steak, and pizza. It was all gone, eaten by the chubby little brother #$&%!

Occupational and physical therapy have been rotating days giving Kev a pretty good little work out to strengthen his legs. He is walking a lot better and should be able able to get around real well at home. The Doctors are actually encouraging him to get out and do things while he is at home. After almost two weeks in the same room, just getting out will feel like "getting out and doing things" for Kev.

Morning Kevin!

Well, this are good news. You´ll be home in a few days. Something to look forward to. You´ll see those days will rush by. Nothing is as good as beeing home. Getting some home cooked food from your mom. It´s the best medicine.

Stay strong! Lots of hugs to the Seelys. Love, Simone

Kevin,
One more day closer to being in the comforts of home!
The nurses probably don't want you to leave since you make their day with your smile and perhaps you might even be flirting a little?
:-)
By-the-way...as soon as you are back in Orlando, I have a cabinet here above my seat which needs cleaning out. For some reason, the person who sat in the very same desk I am sitting in liked to stash workbooks and tape sets in the closed cabinet...could that be you? :-)
Don't worry, I'm leaving it as a nice little project for us to work on when you stop by for an office visit. (Just make sure not to wear your sassy monogrammed white dress shirt that day!)
Hugs and more Hugs,
Darla
