back in...

Kevin is back on the 8th floor (geisinger medical center) to continue the chemotherapy. We came on Saturday for a quick poke, but the port that was placed in his chest to "facilitate" the chemo treatment is a little bugger. Albeit, taking a few tries before it's done right seems to be par for the course lately, someone jabbing a needle into an unseen target in your chest can be a bit unsettling. Saturday's target practice was short with only two pokes and two squeezes (one for sharon, another for lauren). Today was a hatrick, three pokes and three squeezes (mom took all three)!

Kevins blood results came back Neutropenic (look it up) so he is a little weak. Hopefully he will be up to posting in the near future. If not we'll keep ya posted.

Hey Kevin, I think about you day and night. I wish there was some way of taking the pain away. I would do it in a heart beat. You are truly one-of-a-kind individual and I hope for nothing but the best. I miss you terribly and hope to one day see your smiling face again. All my love, Jamie

Hey Kevin, it's me, Austin.

I just heard about you and I really hope that you get better. You were so nice to live next to! It was great to see you months ago at my uncle's lecture.

I'm not "hoping" that you're going to get better because I KNOW that you will! Without doubt!

You're always fun to talk to, and it seems like every time I talk to you you've gone to a new place. There's lots more places to see, so get better and we can go to Australia one day.

Kevin! We miss you here in event planning! Please remember all of our thoughts and prayers are with you. By the way, you look GOOD in the hospital gown. Not many people can pull off that look! :)

All our love, Monica

Kevin...This is Mark Maldonado,

Haven't seen you since Hong Kong. I understand you life has been turned upside down. I also know that you are a SuperMan among Road Warriors...used to taking the impossible situation and not just surviving but thriving under the preasure. This is another opportunity to show the World that you are not just a spectator but a primary player in this game. I'm proud to be on you team. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you here in Florida or abroad. Your Brother on the Road, MM

Hi Kevin,
Am sorry to hear about the tough times you are going thru right now. Just remember tough times don't last, but tough people from Berwick do. Its hard at times to keep that positive attitude, but that is just what you need to do. Worked with your Mother at the middle school. You will be in my prayers. Bob Chambers
